On June 1st 2017, President Donald Trump announced a goal to withdraw from the Paris Agreement, which is an agreement to regulate and improve greenhouse gases starting in 2020, in his Paris Climate Accord Address. In his speech, Trump announces that the agreement will strain the economy and put American workers at a great disadvantage. Although many environmentalists have felt angry since President Trump was instated into office promising more industrialization, some people were pleased to avoid international strains and an agreement that did not have any real proof of positive environmental results.
