An Interview With Rick Warren by Jeffrey Goldberg
Faith is simply a worldview. A person who says he puts his faith on the shelf when he's making decisions is either an idiot or a liar" |
In an interview with Rick Warren, a pastor in Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, Warren stated that he believed in the separation in church and state, but he did not believe in the separation of politics and religion. He justified his statement by saying that, "Faith is simply a worldview. A person who says he puts his faith on the shelf when he's making decisions is either an idiot or a liar."
