REPUBLICANS VS. DEMOCRATS
To briefly sum up both political parties' views on immigration, Diffen.com says: "There is greater overall support in the Democratic party for a moratorium on deporting - or offering a pathway to citizenship to - certain undocumented immigrants. e.g. those with no criminal record, who have lived in the U.S. for 5+ years." On the other hand, Diffen states: "Republicans are generally against amnesty for any undocumented immigrants. They also oppose President Obama's executive order that put a moratorium on deporting certain workers. Republicans also fund stronger enforcement actions at the border."
These descriptions quickly describe the major political party's beliefs on immigration in the U.S.

POLITICAL CARTOONS
Political cartoons are common way of voicing a party's side comically, yet efficiently. Above, there are three political cartoons, all having an opinion on current immigration policies. They tend to be slightly more dramatic and very bias, a caution today's Americans are weary of. Two left-leaning cartoons are above titled "We're Not Anti-Immigrant, They Say" and "History Marches On: Nativism Marches In Place", as well as a right-leaning cartoon titled "Broken Windows".
The democratic-leaned cartoons explain the hypocrisy of the opposing party, as well as the constant themes of exclusion in their beliefs of a certain group. The republican-leaned cartoon shows the change of policy and meaning behind the democrats allowing illegal immigrants into the country.
