After the wars in the early 1900s, the environmentalist leaders in the late 1900s were prepared to get America back on track to accomplish their goals of conserving land and creating a healthier country. The outdated environmentalist movement was updated and properly informed. This was a time of unification of environmentalists, accomplished through inspiring books, symbols, and protests. Through new education, like student-lectures, the environmentalists were able to influence the creation of many new laws to improve the earth and accomplished a nationwide day dedicated to the environment.
