Connecting Scientists and Civilians
In April, 1990, an Earth Day conference was held at the capital. A video was created to advertise the conference. At the conference, scientists discussed new policies for reporting environmental news. This promotion engaged and involved citizens in the debates for environmental action. It connected scientific discovery with the public. This was the start of a slow movement to politicize the environment through the US citizens.
